Blackjack game

Blackjack is a very popular card game that can be found in many casinos around the world. The rules of Blackjack are simple; players attempt to beat the dealer by accumulating cards that total closer to 21 than the dealer’s hand without going over 21, known as “busting”. Cards 2-10 have their face value, Jacks, Queens and Kings are worth 10 points each and Aces count as either 1 or 11 points.
The player starts off with two cards, one of which is face up while the other is face down. Depending on the value of the cards, they must make decisions whether to draw more cards (hit) or stay put (stand). They can also double down if they feel confident in their hand. Doubling down means the player doubles their bet and is only allowed to draw one card. If the dealer’s face-up card is an Ace, players are offered a chance to buy insurance which allows them to protect themselves against the possibility of the dealer having Blackjack and winning the round.
The outcome of each game depends on how close the players get to 21 without going over it. If a player gets closer than the dealer, he/she wins and is paid out as per usual betting odds. If both have equal values or if they bust (go over 21), then it’s a push and no one wins or loses money. In most cases, Blackjack pays 3:2. In other words, you can win $50 if your bet is worth $30.
